Modernizing a Ugandan school with Nounish design, water, and solar tech.
Ndurumo Primary School in Uganda needs better infrastructure and resources.
Lack of funding and government support. Rural schools are often overlooked in budget allocations.
Improved learning environment for 500+ students with better facilities. The school will become a model for using crypto funding in educational development.
We could expand to multiple schools across East Africa and create standardized plans for others to follow. We would also add digital literacy programs.
Design in Month 1, construction in Months 2-6, and launch in Months 7-8. I'll work with local architects and contractors while coordinating with the community.
We'll use biogas from kitchen waste to power cooking, teaching students about renewable energy.
6-8 months total. Design (1 month), construction (4-5 months), and finishing (1-2 months). Weather or permit delays might extend the timeline. We need to finish before the next school year.
Yes, for about 3 months. We've completed site assessments and identified local partners. We've learned that community support is essential but government processes can be slow.
I'm an alumnus of the school with connections to the local community. I've worked on previous Nounish projects in East Africa.
I attended this school and want to improve conditions there. I understand rural education challenges and have experience with community projects.
I led a successful Nounish community program in Uganda last year.
